Dr. Gregory Childrey

Dr. Gregory Childrey is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is an associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Childrey was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a degree in Chemistry. He went on to receive his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and then finished his OB/GYN residency at the University of South Alabama. After serving four years in the United States Air Force at Columbus Air Force Base, Dr. Childrey began private practice here in Columbus, MS full time in 1986.

Since opening his practice, Dr. Childrey has provided quality OB/GYN services to women of all ages. With his commitment to expert healthcare, he continues to provide women with all levels of obstetrical and gynecological care, as well as expand his expertise with body sculpting and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to both women and men.

Emily J. Stidham, MSN, FNP-C

Emily Stidham is a family nurse practitioner who is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also an active member of Mississippi Nurses Association, Mississippi Association of Nurse Pracitioners, Sigma Theta Tau and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies.

Emily lives in Starkville, MS and is married to Justin with one daughter, Mary Parker. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a B.S. in Nursing in 2013. After several years in women’s health, labor and delivery, and surgery, she returned to MUW and earned her Master’s degree and became a family nurse practitioner in 2018. Emily practiced a variety of primary care to all ages in Louisville, MS prior to joining Columbus OB/GYN Specialty Center in the summer of 2021. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice to continue to build her expertise in patient care, research, and education.

Emily enjoys building relationships with patients and looks to be an advocate for total health, focusing on patients’ concerns, but also preventative care and healthy habits. She looks forward to meeting each new patient and further cultivating relationships with familiar faces.
